My School Experience
My school experience has been truly enjoyable and enriching. I had the opportunity to visit different types of schools, including the Waldorf school, elementary school, and the Folks art school. Each of these schools provided me with unique insights into the education system andallowed me to engage with students and teachers in a meaningful way.
One of the aspects I enjoyed the most was attending the lessons, especially the German classes. It was a great experience to be actively involved in the lessons, not just as a listener but also as a participant. I had the chance to hold presentations, interact with students, and discuss various topics. Many of these discussions revolved around politics, economics, and social issues, particularly the differences between Germany and Hungary. I found these conversations to be extremely interesting and eye-opening. We don't just talk about serious topics but also I meet a lot of students outside of school at the Youth House by Lake Somlyó, which provides a great opportunity for lighter interactions, relaxation and get to know each other much better.
The school environment was always warm and welcoming. The teachers were incredibly kind and genuinely happy to have us there. We were always greeted with enthusiasm and treated with great hospitality. This positive atmosphere made it an absolute pleasure to visit the schools. The students were also very friendly and respectful. At first, some of them were a bit shy, which is completely understandable. To help break the ice, I often took the initiative to start conversations and share my own experiences. This approach led to many engaging and interesting discussions with the students.
Another aspect I really appreciated was getting an inside look at how the school system works in these different institutions. Seeing the structure of the lessons, the teaching methods, and the interaction between students and teachers was fascinating. Additionally, I was able to make new social connections. I even met people whom I now see around the city, which is a great way to feel more connected to the community.
Overall, this school experience has been incredibly positive for me. I enjoyed every moment, from the lessons and presentations to the friendly conversations with students and teachers. The welcoming atmosphere, the engaging discussions, and the opportunity to be actively involved in the lessons made this experience truly special. I am grateful for the chance to be part of such a wonderful learning environment, and I look forward to continuing these interactions in the future.
