It provides a perfect setting for volunteers to immerse themselves in nature, work on eco-friendly projects, and participate in workshops and community events. The garden combines local plants, sustainable farming practices, and a sense of community, offering a unique opportunity to learn and contribute to a more eco-conscious lifestyle. As a volunteer, you'll experience firsthand how nature and conscious community living come together in a beautiful, supportive environment.
ABOUT THE GATHERINGS
The European Ecovillage Gathering 2025 will celebrate 30 years of Ecovillage impact under the theme Tending the Roots. This annual event brings together people from around the world to explore community living and sustainable practices. Attendees will have the chance to meet ecovillagers, learn tools for community development, and discover ways to regenerate socially, economically, culturally, and ecologically. Set in Hungary, this year's gathering honors the 30th anniversary of the Global Ecovillage Network and 20 years of Gaia Education. The event will blend ancient traditions with modern sustainable living practices, offering a transformative space for growth and connection.
The Gyüttment Festival celebrates rural life, sustainability, and community. It brings together people passionate about eco-conscious living, farming, and rural development. The festival offers workshops, talks, and experiences, focusing on how to live in harmony with nature and embrace a simpler, more meaningful lifestyle. This year marks its 10th anniversary, featuring over 100 programs that explore sustainable living, knowledge sharing, and community building. It’s a space to learn, connect, and share experiences with like-minded individuals.
