This spring and summer we've been visiting different places around Hungary that are home to sustainable initiatives and it's been very interesting to see how many different approaches there are to living with more respect towards our environment.
Last weekend we joined the volunteer team of the Nyim Eco-community to learn about natural building and help them build a strawbale house. Usually our focus is mainly on food so it was particularly interesting this time to see a completely different aspect with natural buildings and even if we went away from the plants, we still had our hands in the soil!
It was really great to meet all the volunteers of the Nyim team volunteering project and to see the long term volunteers again. The atmosphere was so exciting with so many people around and we all really enjoyed participating in such a special construction.
