Hi everyone!
Last Friday morning we had a great time while helping our neighbor who asked us for help to fix her broken gate.
A shovel, a drill, plus strong energy, helped us in this endeavor that ended with a hot coffee that she offered us!
It's crazy that nowadays people feel lonely and unable to ask for help even if they live surrounded by people. That's why solidarity has to be one of the most important principles for everyone to eliminate this sense of alienation that, time by time, is growing.
I want to share with you an extract of one of my favorite speeches Charlie Chaplin made in the film: "The great Dictator":
"I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone - if possible - Jew, Gentile - black man - white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another."
