Last Friday, to pursue our effort to kick plastic and chemicals out of our homes, we hosted a soap making workshop.
After sharing her knowledge of natural cosmetics with us in a previous workshop, Fi shared with us the secrets of soap making.
It was very interesting to learn about the cold process of soap making and kind of magical to witness simple oil and water turn into soap bars. We all enjoyed the process itself but also to chose essential oils that will give fragrance and add properties to our soaps as well as decorating the soap bars with beautiful dried flowers and herbs.
