Last Friday a few of us went to the local school to help some parents build new shelves and decorate one of the classrooms.
We put our building and artistic skills to good use by contributing to building two new shelves and painting a mural representing a sloth as well as a colorful wall under the board.
It was a really nice atmosphere in the classroom that afternoon as we had music playing, kids were kept busy with arts and crafts and we could enjoy some homemade cakes and cookies brought by some of the parents.
We hope the kids like the new look of their classroom as much as we do.
