On February 18th was the carnival (or Farsang) celebration at the school. So on the Tuesday afternoon before, we met with the kids to prepare some decorations and baked some Fánk (a typical carnival doughnut).
On the Friday, we were invited to the Farsang to be judges of the kid's costumes. So we thought that we couldn't show up unprepared and made our own costumes with what we could find. There were two contests, one for single contestants and one for groups. This girl dressed as Sponge Bob that you can see in one of the pictures won the singles competition. It was very fun, the group costume contestants prepared some performances with choreographies and music. There was also some cake and cotton candy.
It was a super nice experience for us and we were happy to be invited to this event.
